The staff was very comforting and caring throughout the entire ordeal and made the process quick and easy for my family and I. WHERE TO START
Within hours of notifying Michael that our mother/grandmother had passed, he immediately dispatched his team to Clove Lakes Nursing Home and brought her to Colonial. Both he and his staff were beyond caring and considerate as we dealt with our grief and the inherent difficulties of having a service during these times. It was easy to see how busy the home was, but Michael made us feel like we were the only people there and was exceedingly thoughtful -- both he and staff made us feel that our mother/grandmother was as special to them as she was to us. Colonial will always have our family's eternal gratitude. The staff and service was outstanding, so respectful and a warm and caring feeling they gave to me and my family.
The loss of a parent is one of the most difficult things to experience. The care and compassion that was shown to my family and I by Colonial Funeral Home was truly amazing.
